This policy explains what Touchdown Dynasty collects when you play, why, who helps us run the game, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

From Google, when you sign in: your email address, your name and an account ID. Google also sends a link to your profile picture, which is stored with your sign-in but never used or shown. We never see your Google password.
What you do in the game: the athletes, GMs and coaches you create and their names, ratings, training, Drills, games, stats, contracts, in-game money and items, messages you send to teams, notifications and your How to Play progress.
When you play: the days you use the game, the first and last time you were active each day and how many visits that was, linked to your account.
Where you play from: scrambled codes made from your IP address, from its network and from a random ID your browser keeps for this game, and your browser and system type (such as "Chrome on Android"), linked to your account. The codes cannot be turned back into your address; we use them only to spot one person running several accounts.
Technical data: your IP address and basic request details, which our servers and hosting providers log briefly to keep the game running and stop abuse.
In your browser: your sign-in session, a copy of your characters and How to Play progress so pages load faster, the random browser ID above, and a few preferences, such as your active character and banners you have closed. These stay on your device, except the browser ID, which is sent with your requests.

What we do not do

No advertising, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics tools.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone except the providers listed below.

What other players can see

The game is a shared league. Your characters’ names, positions, ratings, stats, teams, contracts, in-game money and items can be seen by other players and by visitors to the site. Your email address is never shown. If you do not want your real name public, do not use it for a character.

Why we use it

To run the game you signed up for: your account, your characters and the league. (Legal basis: performing our agreement with you.)
To keep the game safe and fair: preventing cheating, abuse, attacks and one person running several accounts. (Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, fair game.)
To see how many people play and come back, so we can improve the game. (Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the game.)
To answer you when you contact us, and to meet legal obligations.

Who helps us run the game

These providers store or process data for us, only to run the game:

Supabase: our database and sign-in (servers in the United States).
Fly.io: our game server (United States).
Vercel: hosts the website (worldwide network).
Google: only for signing in, when you choose it.

Some of this data is stored outside the European Union. Where it is, it is protected by the safeguards these providers offer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Links to Discord go to Discord’s own service and policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your sign-in, your email, your name and every link between your account and your characters. Your characters retire: their names and past stats stay in the league’s history, no longer connected to you. Server logs are kept for a short time by our hosting providers and then deleted. The codes for where you play from are deleted 90 days after we last see them, or with your account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, object to how we use it or ask us to limit it by emailing contact@touchdowndynasty.com. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We answer within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to a data protection authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es); in the EU you can also contact the authority where you live.

Age

You must be at least 16 to play. If we learn that someone under 16 has an account, we will delete it. If you believe this has happened, email contact@touchdowndynasty.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change matters, we will also tell you in the game before it takes effect.

Who runs the game
